Industrial Exoskeleton Robotic System

We are currently developing a wearable robot that provides extra strength to those working in industrial environments in order to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.

We are also researching an arm-supporting wearable robot that uses only springs and pure mechanical design without electrically operated parts for workers who need to work with their necks bent backwards, as well as a waist support and chair-type wearable robot for workers who need to work while bending over.

In addition, we are researching waist-support wearable robots and arm-support wearable robots using electrical motors and carrying out various research to understand workers’ intentions.

We are continuing our research for improving performance prediction and wearability by modeling the human musculoskeletal structure and utilizing analysis simulation software. We are also developing the technologies needed for industrial wearable robots relating to the safety of workers, robot designs, robot control, software architecture, motor drivers, embedded boards, and scenarios.
