MobED showcased on the Davos Forum 2023
Hyundai Motor Group supported a special exhibition for the new concept mobile platform 'MobED' at the 2023 World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting, a.k.a. the 'Davos Forum'. Hyundai Motor Group installed stepped exhibition stands and displays in their meeting room from 16th of January to the 20th (local time), exhibiting the MobED alongside its technology showcase video . The meeting rooms are spaces for CEOs of global companies and VIP guests of the Davos Forum to hold meetings. The MobED was exclusively displayed at the center of this meeting room, drawing attention from key visiting figures.

MobED is a new mobile platform concept that integrates cutting-edge technology developed by the Hyundai Motor Group’s Robotics LAB, and its features include the adjustment of each wheels’ height according to the surface environment in order to maintain the vehicle body leveled and to minimize shock. The independent steering in each wheel enables omnidirectional driving, allowing efficient movement in narrow and complex urban environments through flexible wheelbase adjustment. Moreover, the MobED is a modular platform capable of supporting various specifications and sizes, and is a universal platform for performing various functions, allowing for a wide ranges of applications.

A presentation and a Q&A was held explaining the features and application of the MobED, and the exhibition stand was also used as a photo zone.
