Meet our future at SLW 2024!
Our Robotics Lab’s Auto Charging Robot (ACR) participated in the Seoul Smart Life Week (SLW), known as the Korean version of CES!
SLW 2024, known as the “Korean version of CES,” opened for the first time this year, and was held at COEX in Gangnam for a total of three days from October 10 to 12. A total of 147 innovative companies from home and abroad participated in the exhibition under the theme of “Future of Urban Life Changed by Advanced Technology,” and our Robotics LAB participated in the exhibition.
The Auto Charging Robot (ACR) automatically performs all tasks from cable insertion to removal, providing a more comfortable EV driving experience by solving inconvenience caused by heavy connectors and anxiety about high currents for everyone, including the transportation vulnerable.
When the driver parks the vehicle, the ACR opens the vehicle's charging port door and quickly recognizes the parking situation and the location of the charging port through the Vision AI system. After fastening the charger to the charging port of the electric vehicle, the charging starts immediately, so that the charger is automatically removed and the charging port door is closed when the vehicle is charged.
Last July, Jeju Island implemented and operated ACR for the general public, and is developing a rail-type ACR that can charge multiple electric vehicles using one ACR.
Robotics LAB aims to create a future where electric wave life can be enjoyed comfortably regardless of the physical condition or situation of electric vehicle users through ACR in the future.
We look forward to your continued interest.
